May. 29th, 2003 04:10 pmCandace is a moron. Yes, you're supposed to show decks to Michaelle first. Don't roll your eyes at me. You've been here how many months? F#ckin' bitch.
But that is not what I was going to post about. She just happened to walk in here as I started typing.
I cannot believe how stressful it has been planning this Scotland trip. Now that we have probably found the flight we're going to take (though I just know the second we book we'll find something cheaper) we are on to finding a decent, affordable hotel in London that is within walking distance of anything fun that will not require money (like the Victoria and Albert Museum, parks, landmarks etc.) We are looking at the South Kensington or Bloomsbury areas. It is ridiculous just how difficult this has been. No one seems to be able to recommend a good hotel since everyone else has friends to stay with in London. And every hotel we find a decent price for online also has several awful reviews. I don't need luxury, just a clean bed and a door with a lock in a good neighborhood where Shoshana can walk around and see the sights on Saturday without having to spend any money or ride any trains/buses/cars. If anyone knows of a hotel like that for under £70/night, please let me know. I'm willing to spend a little more than that if it means a big difference in quality, but this will only be the first weekend of a 2-week long trip and I don't need to blow all my money on a hotel in London.
We haven't even begun planning our tour around Scotland yet. That will be even more fun. At least then the tour company will be there to help us out. I'm very excited about this trip but I am stressing out way too much over it.
