It's one of those days. We should all be curled up in front of a fire sipping mugs of cocoa, not sitting at desks in an office building. There's been hardly any work so far today, which is just as well because I'm really getting into this book Shoshana lent me -- Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. I'm not usually into romance novels, but this one's got me hooked. It's about a woman in the 1940's who steps through a standing stone in the Scottish Highlands and gets transported back 200 years, where of course she meets a gallant young Scottish warrior. It's not overly cheesy and the Scottish dialect just makes me think of Sean Biggerstaff...hee. :-)
My tooth hurts a lot less today. Maybe I was just teething. I certainly hope so. Now my left ear feels a little clogged. I'm just a little mess.
I can't believe my trip to Scotland is next week! I'm just not in the right mindset yet. And I'm looking forward to telling people I'm leaving Thursday, instead of "I'm leaving on Sept. 11." It's nerve-racking enough just getting on a plane without the worried looks I get from people.
