Slow day...

Okay, I'm ready for this day to be over now. I'm ready. Let's go. *Checks watch* Hmmph.

Time to bore you all with my trivial life.

Yesterday Denise called me from her car, as she so often does, this time to say she was passing the high school and did I want her to pick me up any of the boys running track. (Last time it was football players.) Then as we're talking, I hear Denise scream like a girl, there's a thud and then the phone goes dead. It took me a second to process what happened. My first thought was "Shit, she hit one of the track boys!" I called her right back, and it turns out she had gotten rear-ended while waiting to pull into her own driveway. She always uses a headset when she calls me from her car, by the way, so it really wasn't her fault. She's fine, but her car is totalled. She says her insurance covers a car rental for this weekend, but shiiiiit. Poor Deniché.

Things to remember for this weekend:
• Ally's card and present (oh wait, I guess I mean Ally and David's)
• Pictures for Ally's scrapbook
• A camera
• Dress sandals
• Get Denise's backpack that's she lending to me for Scotland

I went to the MAC store yesterday and bought fancy make-up. Of course any make-up is fancy for me. Bright red lipstick, brown lipliner and a foundation compact. Now I just need to figure out earrings and what I'm wearing in my hair. No matter what, I will be a babe. Catering boys, watch out!
