Weekend...

I spent today in Connecticut with Ally and Denise visiting Sarah, who is up from South Carolina for the holidays. We had our typical silly good time, ate lots of Italian food for lunch, played with/got drooled on by Sarah's dogs (ew), looked at Ally's wedding pictures, had sundaes at Friendly's and then, we rented Gigli. Purely for the sake of laughing at it. No surprises there, horrible *horrible* movie, but really, not even worth renting for the sake of laughing at it.

What is a good movie, however, is Girl With a Pearl Earring, which cynima and I saw last night. Visually gorgeous and sexy as hell; Colin Firth positively smolders. And lots of beautiful corsets.

Those were the interesting parts of this weekend. Tomorrow I take on the grueling task of prying up the rest of the bathtub decals in my bathroom. Maybe I'll catch a matinee movie.

Oh and one more thing -- apparently some showings of ROTK have been getting the trailer for Win a Date with Tad Hamilton, which my man Topher is starring in. I just watched a teeny version of the trailer online. I will of course have to see it because my husband is too too cute. I'm torn though, because why does he have to be macking on Kate Bosworth?! I know I said I had nothing against her for dating Orlando Bloom, cynima, but now that she is getting too close to my Topher, I am not so happy... :-b
