Much to my surprise, I quite enjoyed Angel tonight. I know I bashed Fred last week but I actually think she did a very good job in this episode. I know my friend Denise was bored waiting for the action to start, but I found "Jasmine" to be compelling. It was obvious something was wrong with her, but she did a very good job of acting benevolent. And the maggot skull thing, YIKES.

But the other reason I really liked this episode (and I know [livejournal.com profile] cynima, [livejournal.com profile] bettebauer and Denise will be able to empathize here) is because I know what it's like when something is hideously evil and no one seems to see it but you. Am I right, my ATL sistahs? No one but Fred can see that this woman is manipulating everyone's minds, that she is evil and must be stopped! You have to kill her, Fred! And don't! let her! touch you!

Jennifer Love Hewitt is playing Jones Beach Theater on May 15th! I'll buy us all tickets today, okay?

Okay, being serious now --

Anyone interested in seeing Suzanne Vega on May 28th?

I wonder if she still does Luka...
