Final night
Sep. 26th, 2003 09:18 pmI'm back in Edinburgh now, having spent my last night in Edinburgh hiking halfway up a mountain, eating vegetarian haggis, and now using my hostel's free internet. I wish I was out in the pubs right now but it's creepy to walk around here at night by myself (everyone in the hostel seems to be speaking French, unfortunately.) I love it here and I had a great time but I think I'm ready to come home. Sooner or later I have to sit down and actually figure out how much I spent here (*gulp*).
Today, outside of Inverness, I saw a rainbow bigger and clearer than any I've seen the whole time I've been here. And I've seen many many rainbows here. I couldn't believe it was real.
Happy Rosh Hashanah (Jewish new year)!
