Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things

Who's going to see the All-American Rejects in May? And Def Leppard in July? ME, that's who! Yeah you're jealous. It's so funny that I got the tickets within 2 days of each other. Both bands I saw in 2003 and I once said my ideal concert would be AAR opening for Def Lep. (Of course then the AAR boys would come down and join me in the front row with a cooler of frosty beers.) The Def Lep show is at the Coney Island Cyclones stadium. Sounds really cool. They're doing a whole tour appearing in minor league ballparks. They're actually co-headlining with someone else but if I tell you who it is I lose all my street cred. :-D

What will it take to actually get me off my ass to actually change the things in my life I'm constantly complaining about? These things happen when they're, or when I'm ready, I guess.

Def Leppard and Bryan Adams (;p ) are playing here too, at the Lakewood Blue Claws stadium. It's in the middle of *nowhere*! How demeaned those guys must be feeling. Def Leppard used to sell out ARENAS!

When is it exactly? And no, I didn't get my ticket yet. I am so strapped right now because they've been screwing around with our pay schedule. I figure if I don't wind up with one, it's not the end of the world.
