Sweaterage!

nycmermaidI'm done! My cardigan is done and it's great! Well it's almost done, really I have to get buttons and sew them on, but the knitting is done. If I had a camera I'd take a pic and post it. I'd really like a digicam of my own, darnit.
Last night I tried making brie-infused mashed potatoes like the ones from the cruise. They didn't come out quite as I'd hoped. When you mash up 5 good-sized potatoes with a good-sized wedge of brie, what you get strongly resembles spackle. I threw it in the food processor in batches with a little milk, pureed the hell out of it, and it's pretty heavy stuff. Maybe more milk next time. It'll be fun explaining to Ally that no, I didn't do any journeying (we were supposed to do meditation for our homework) but I did spend half the night making gut-busting mashed potatoes. I'm just not a journeyer. A crafter and a cook, but not a journeyer. Oh well.
I seriously need to buy shoes. You should see the crazy clodhopper outfit I'm wearing today. (No you shouldn't.) But, I am finally wearing Emily's awesome coral/pearl Y-necklace, and if she would deign to read my LJ she would be very pleased. :P
I will now close with what Nathan addressed me as in his last email. :-)
