Today Emily and I went to Chinatown, ate lots of pork buns, went shopping at Joyce Leslie and saw Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit, which was just super adorable, the kind of movie that puts a smile on your face the whole way through. I highly recommend it. Cute claymation bunnies and just enough lude humor to amuse the adults without scandalizing the kids.

I sent Nathan a text tonight. He replied saying he only had enough money on his phone for two more texts. So I figured I would call him and keep it short. Very short. Let this be a lesson that this is just not possible for us. The boy just talks and talks and talks. He talked me from what I intended to be a 10-minute conversation into a 30-minute conversation which ended up being closer to 50 minutes. And he's talking about calling me tomorrow night now! I'm like, we just talked, can't you wait a few days? Of course I like talking to him, but what's the point of doing it day after day? He also said he fell asleep last night wondering if he had said something in his text to piss me off. :b

Apparently they do have an internet connection now, in their living room, but it doesn't work with Nathan's desktop. And they got our package. Nathan says thank you for sending junk food that will make him fat. He showed John and Rob my signed boob pic - with a post-it over my boob. Rob refused to look underneath it, but John took it right off! LMAO. Rob and John are away at home this weekend, he said he'll wait to make the s'mores when they get back.

Well, he said that the terrible face he's making is just his response to Rob kissing Dave (who they call "Kittie" by the way). I told him I think they all fancy Dave, and he said yes definitely. :)

My background is in fact Arthur's Seat! I've been to Edinburgh 3 different times (well technically 4 but whatever) and every time I try to climb Arthur's Seat. And every time I fail for some reason! Next time, dammit, next time.

Don't feel too bad. I've lived here over a year now and I still haven't climbed it. I walked past it, up high, on a sponsored walk a few months back but I have yet to make the trip then sit at the top with sandwiches and Buckfast! And thanks for adding me back :)
