Mwahaha, the Editors pre-sale tickets sold out in a flash but I got 3! Even if I may have ended up paying a little more for them...but if Editors are still as popular as they were last time they came around, this show will sell out in a flash too so anyone who gets tickets will end up paying fees anyway. And they're stupid will-call tickets, but that's not such a big deal to me - I like having ticket stubs and all, but don't totally need them.

Out of curiousity, I went to the good old Carling fest rumors site that I checked so religiously all last summer, and saw this:

Feb. 8: I'm told NME says
headliners- franz, muse and pearl jam
second headliners- kaisers, arctic monkeys, flaming lips
unknown stage- dirty pretty things and racounters

Pearl Jam! No, I haven't really been a fan for about 8 years, but that is the kind of band I would love to see headline Leeds festival. I used to love Eddie Vedder, and still do, if only in a nostalgic sort of way. I know my decision whether or not to go to Leeds again this year won't really be based on who's playing, but it does tip the scales toward going...

By the way, Barry Fratelli told me that they'll be playing all the festivals!

That's pretty funny, though, that Carl and Co. will be playing the "unknown stage." They're far from that! It's going to be madness like it was last year with Arctic Monkeys! :/

We have to buy tickets next month! :|

Oh and thanks so much for the Editors ticket, I really appreciate it. :) (I still don't understand why they're so popular, though. Especially here. That soooo came out of nowhere.)

Oh, I didn't take that to mean the stage for unknown bands, just that they didn't know the name of the stage yet. :b

I would love to see the Fratellis play Leeds fest too! That would be so great, having discovered them in Glasgow after the fest last year. (We SO discovered them. Hands off, Tarts!)

This month is going to go by so fast. I can't believe we're going to have to buy Leeds tickets in like, 6 weeks. Or less, even. So many shows coming up, too! And Cribs/NBA are supposed to be coming back next month too.

I took it to mean the Carling stage too, but just that they refer to it as that because the smallest bands play that stage. I just assumed it would be the "Carling stage" again, but I guess it's possible it won't be. :s

I know, they are SOOOO ours. I even told Barry that if they come mix the album here that I could tell him where to go/what to see. So we shall see! It would be quite fitting, yes.

Actually, I keep thinking it's later in the month than it actually is. I'm worried about having enough money for my ticket. :b I don't even think I can afford Strokes tickets, even if I can get them. (Or at least not to lay out money for three or four people.) And yes, March makes up for the disappointment of February! I keep waiting for those dates to show up and pray there's not conflict...

He does have great hair, but there are two big problems:

A)Actually getting tickets. I'm sure it's going to sell out in no time.

B)Depending on how many people want to come (MD doesn't, Jasmine might, Tara might, she's asking her sister), I can't afford to buy tickets for everyone.
