On VH1 this morning, in a segment about the Arctic Monkeys, they showed the bassist and drummer (drinking a coke) being interviewed in a studio and the voiceover said something like "But the boys are keeping it real - witness the nonalcoholic drink and anti-rock star behavior." Has this person seen the Arctic Monkeys live, EVER? And the drummer had his sunglasses on - yeah, that's SO anti-rock star. :p :eyerolls:
But anyway. Big day today! Lineup announcements for Reading/Leeds (headliners at 1pm EST, the rest at 2:15) and tickets go on sale at 2:30!
And Peatbog Faeries tonight. :)
albauk, am I right in guessing that you're going to stay late and work on your project? I really wish I had thought to bring mine in today. :(

Date: 2006-04-03 02:28 pm (UTC)I have no idea what my plan is for later. It depends how long it takes me to type up the fucking minutes for our fucking staff meeting. If I can get through my chapter anyway by the time the day is over, I can definitely meet up for dinner or something. I didn't bring food with me for later, so if we don't go, I'll be starving, but oh well...

Date: 2006-04-03 02:52 pm (UTC)I brought knitting, but not enough to occupy me for 3 hours, so I hope you do finish your chapter. We should go to Grand Central and collect free Scotland swag!

Date: 2006-04-03 04:11 pm (UTC)It's possible I'll finish, or if it doesn't look to be too late a night, I could finish up some stuff at home. Free Scotland swag is a good thing.
