Still recovering from crazy night out with gargoyl and her boy Ryan. Things have still not gone entirely back to norbal. High points of the evening included:

--Dissing the Jews for Jesus people by exclaiming "I'm not THAT drunk" when they tried to hand me a flyer on St. Mark's Place

--Bonding with Ryan over our mutual love for Def Leppard

--Explaining the "no guys with verb names" rule to our cab driver, Kevin

--Bringing everyone back to my apartment to sing loudly along to Queensryche

--The obligatory drunken "I love you!" call to cynima because I had to tell her about the Queensryche; luckily she was in good spirits

Thank you, gargoyl and Ryan, for helping to put a dent in the massive amounts of beer in my fridge; of course there's still several left. I also got to meet angelsil and theonebob at Continental last night, which was cool. I've been meeting so many new Livejournalers this week!

Waking up this morning was not fun, but somehow I still got to work at 10:30. Where's my cookie? I also discovered this morning that I am out of right contact lenses. How I missed that I do not know. But now I am in glasses till I get my damn lenses, which sucks because it means I can't wear my sunglasses and I am supposed to do another training cruise tomorrow. (Yes, that means I passed my drug test.) ;-)

Yeah, they piss me off, I know I shouldn't give anyone a hard time about their spirituality, because mine isn't so normal either, but I just think the Jews for Jesus people are so friggin confused.

It's not giving them a hard time about their spirituality; it's giving them a hard time about their proselytism. And Jews for Jesus bugs me more than other j00-must-convert sects of Christianity because they're not even honest about their proselytizing.
