From osito71: an icon meme, in which I talk about the little picture boxes that represent me in this crazy internet world. I don't know how to wrap words around images like he did, but this will have to do.

This was an actual sticker from a package of knickers (British for "panties") I purchased in a Marks and Spencer in Britain, somewhere between London and Inverness. I don't remember which one. In addition to its sauciness and its resemblance in shape to a badge, it was funny because a guy at my job at the time liked to call me "Hippie Knickers." I use it when I'm talking about something England-related that isn't specifically Nathan.

Ah, Walter and Perry. Characters from a show called "Home Movies," which used to be on Adult Swim (on the Cartoon Network). These 2 kids were often the best part of the show. They're only 8 years old but they're clearly in love with each other and constantly making inadvertantly (or not) gay comments. I use it when I'm talking about friends; it's sort of my "from all of us" icon. I don't use it often.

Ha ha, I knew this one was going to get picked. You know those fake candles they have now? They're little glowy lights that look like candlelight but don't pose a fire hazard. I was at a posh bowling alley at the Palisades Mall and I was feeling silly, so I did this, and then of course people had to take pictures.

Aggis MacHaggis. A goofy name for a little toy I bought in a cheesy gift shop on the shores of Loch Ness. I use it when posting about Scottish things. Or cute animals.

Boober! Boober is a fraggle. Fraggles are little creatures that live underground in a place called Fraggle Rock. On a show called Fraggle Rock, which I think is one of, if not the greatest kid show ever made. Fraggles were conceived of by Jim Henson, of course. Boober's favorite activity is doing laundry. And worrying about everything. The sky is always falling in Boober's world, and he seems to like it that way. Sometimes I feel like Boober. I use this icon when I feel like Boober.
