that is fucking freaky. i've heard about other old eighties teen actors who've turned to christianity, but this is scary shit. holy moley. and to think i used to think he was kinda cool when i was young.... god. it's so ridiculous.

It really doesn't surprise me that washed up actors, or actors, in general, turn to hardcore religion. Hollywood is a vicious place, and Show Business can make even the most levelheaded of people feel like they're losing their minds. Actors and other show biz people feel like they're flapping in the wind with nothing to anchor them, and strict religious practices can give them that anchor they feel they need.

I can't stand the proselytizing and religious hypocrisy, but I guess it's better to turn to hardcore religion than to drugs and other substances.
