Come laugh at the righteous freaks, fellow sinners

Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] writey: you all must go accept Jesus into your heart because you are SINNERS and Kirk Cameron wants you to know that!

It reads like a funny LJ meme, but it's for real! Hysterical in its absurdity.

I fucking hate Kirk Cameron. Ever since back in the late 80s he talked shit about "alternative" and "goth" people, finding people who wear black and lots of eyeliner to be unattractive, silly and lost. Screw YOU, buddy.

Whoa...Kirk Cameron?! I guess this makes sense though, as his sister Candace Cameron is also a hardcore Christian now, I learned this from the E! True Hollywood Story about "Full House", lol. ;)

Yeah, he's been all Jesus-ed out for a long time. Toward the end of Growing Pains, Mike Seaver reformed his troublemaking ways and became a teacher, largely due to Kirk Cameron's insistance.

Hmm...I never was into him much. My Growing Pains heartthrob of choice was young Leo DiCaprio as Luke Brower, heh... :)

Oh yes! That's where I learned to love Leo.

Me too! :)

Hey I found you in the Keane community, wondering if I could add you/vice versa? ;)

Take care!

Okay, sure. Good to meet you!

[identity profile] langatmig.livejournal.com 2005-04-26 06:12 pm (UTC)(link)
You too! :)

OMG...ahahahaha. How lame! Crazy fundies at it again. And who knew Kirk Cameron would become a crazy fundie one day?

It's almost as good as this. Although I don't know if this website is serious or not... hmm

[identity profile] lunaci3.livejournal.com 2005-04-27 01:40 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, and I'm apparently a sinner and a blassfemur (that's how he said it). I RAWK!

[identity profile] ex-stretch327.livejournal.com 2005-04-27 10:27 am (UTC)(link)
that is fucking freaky. i've heard about other old eighties teen actors who've turned to christianity, but this is scary shit. holy moley. and to think i used to think he was kinda cool when i was young.... god. it's so ridiculous.

[identity profile] cynima.livejournal.com 2005-04-27 04:09 pm (UTC)(link)
It really doesn't surprise me that washed up actors, or actors, in general, turn to hardcore religion. Hollywood is a vicious place, and Show Business can make even the most levelheaded of people feel like they're losing their minds. Actors and other show biz people feel like they're flapping in the wind with nothing to anchor them, and strict religious practices can give them that anchor they feel they need.

I can't stand the proselytizing and religious hypocrisy, but I guess it's better to turn to hardcore religion than to drugs and other substances.
